Jane Guillory Landreneau

Jane Guillory Landreneau, born on August 25, 1936, in Mamou, La, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2026, at the age of 90. A lifelong resident of Duralde, La, Jane was a devoted homemaker who found joy in creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family. She was renowned for her crafting skills and her ability to bring loved ones together. Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her delightful cooking and the joy she found in family gatherings.

Jane is survived by her three sons: David Landreneau, Carl Landreneau and wife Sarah, and Blaine Landreneau, Sr. and wife Ligia; nine grandchildren, Chad Landreneau, Celeste Klumpp (Christopher), Kelly Schexnider (Ryan), Ashley Scully (Kyle Enicke), Anthony Landreneau, Jr. (Harley), Vanessa Landreneau, Billy Landreneau (Krista), Julianne Landreneau, and Eric Landreneau (Jenny); thirteen great grandchildren, Scotty Christopher, Isabella, Collin James, Raleigh, Mckenzie, Nathan, Weston, Benson, Ava, Callie, Rori, Rebecca, Nicholas. Her family will continue to honor her memory by carrying on the traditions she held dear and celebrating the love she shared with them throughout her life.

Jane was preceded in death by beloved husband, Raymond Landreneau; her great grandchild, John Wilson Klumpp; her parents, Josia and Angeline Periotte; her brother, Simon Guillory; and her daughter-in-law, Susan Frey Landreneau.

A visitation honoring Jane’s life will be held at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice, on Friday, November 6, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m., followed by a rosary at 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., with interment immediately following at Rougeau Cemetery in Duralde. Fr. Blaine Clement will officiate services. Friends and family are encouraged to leave memories and upload photos to Jane's memorial page, celebrating the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many with her warmth and generosity.
