Kaylar Joann Boone, age 64, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Chataignier with Pastor Rickey Boone officiating. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day at the church from 4:00 PM until time of Services. Kaylar worked as a waitress at Ruby's Cafe for 50 years, where she was deeply dedicated to her customers and highly valued by her bosses. She was known for her strong work ethic, warm presence, and the many friendships she formed over the years. Kaylar is survived by her daughter, Samantha Boone, and her companion, Allen Matt; three brothers, David Boone, Jr. (late wife Clarice), Madison Boone, and Nicklaus Boone; two sisters, Bridget Roy (Noel) and Jolene Boone; and two grandchildren, Lyndsay LaFleur and Bailey Boone. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Boone, Sr. and Shirley Johnson Boone; one brother, Jody Boone; and a nephew, Dustin Boone. In her free time, Kaylar enjoyed purse shopping and visiting Eunice's local boutique, Sweet & Sassy.
