Andrea Rurik

Andrea Claire Miller Rurik, born on January 28, 1963, in Eunice, LA, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the age of 63.
Andrea’s life was not simple but storied. Those who knew her will remember chapters of strength, openness, resilience, faith, and an immeasurable love and compassion for others.
Her humor, tenacity, and creativity live on in her daughters Hope (Travis) Aucoin, Anne Katherine (Cody) Smith, and Claire Teachout, as well as her grandchildren Colton, Emilia, Madeline, Porter, Liam, and Juliette.
She is preceded by her parents Ross and Priscilla Miller.
The family will celebrate her life in a private memorial.
